Together for Families

For the 2025 annual symposium, I developed the logo and visual identity to reflect the event’s sensitive focus on domestic violence within the child welfare system. The branding needed to strike a careful balance that acknowledged the gravity of the topic while promoting hope, healing, and unity.

At the heart of the visual identity is an abstract flower logo. Upon closer inspection, the central petal represents a child, embraced by two larger outer petals symbolizing parental or guardian figures. This symbolic design conveys protection, support, and growth—core themes of the Institute’s mission.

Vibrant, uplifting colors were chosen intentionally to counterbalance the subject matter's heaviness, fostering a visual atmosphere of empowerment and resilience.
